Understand any API in a minute, not an afternoon.

Drop in an OpenAPI, Swagger or Postman file — or a cURL command, a HAR recording, plain JSON — and read the shape of the API on a map. Then send a real request, audit it, diff it against the last version, and hand it on as docs, an image or a link.

Reads OpenAPI 3.1, OpenAPI 3.0, Swagger 2.0, Postman v2, Postman v1, cURL, HAR, JSON, YAML, Remote URL, WSDL.

Understand an API at a glance.

A specification is a list. An API is a structure. Vizroute reads the tags, paths and operations you already wrote and draws the services, resources and operations underneath them.

Everything that comes with the map.

Twenty-one tools, all in the same tab, all on the specification you just opened: playground, environments, mock data, load and health checks, audit, coverage, diff, breaking changes, docs, export, share links and embeds.

One API, or all of them.

The API Map opens one specification and needs no account. Contract Graph keeps a whole estate — shared entities, duplicate endpoints, one concept under several names, and which service a change would reach.

From specification to map in seconds.

Open a file, read the map, send a request, and pass it on. Nothing is installed and nothing is uploaded.

Built for the moments you meet an API.

A new codebase, a partner's API, a review before release, or a handover to someone who was not in the room.

Questions worth asking first.

Is my specification uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read in your browser and stays there: parsing, the map, the audit and the diff all run in the tab. The only requests that leave are the ones you send yourself from the playground — those go to your API, not to us.

Do I need an account?

Not for the API Map. Open a file and everything is available: map, inspector, playground, audit, coverage, diff, docs and export. An account is only needed for Contract Graph, which keeps an estate of services across visits, and for the Postman companion.

Which formats can it read?

OpenAPI 2.0, 3.0 and 3.1, Swagger, Postman collections v1 and v2, cURL commands, HAR recordings from a browser's network tab, plain JSON or YAML endpoint lists, and a remote URL it fetches for you. WSDL is read too, as a proposed REST design.

Can I send real requests from the map?

Yes. The playground sends the request you are looking at, with path and query parameters, headers, auth and environment variables filled in from the specification, and copies it as cURL. Responses come back in the same panel.

What happens to the specifications I save?

Saved collections and estates live in this browser's own storage — localStorage for the small records, IndexedDB for the documents. Clearing site data removes them, and nothing is synced unless you connect Postman yourself.

Is it free?

The API Map is free and needs no account. Contract Graph needs an account, which is free to create. There is no paid tier to buy today, and nothing asks for a card.
